A few days ago we accepted a new huge assignment. I can't tell a lot about it yet but it will be something like an online Illustrator-like vector application. I didn't want cope ActionScript so I considered haXe. But when Raphaël crossed my path the decision was easy. I think this can be a great alternative to Flash and it runs on mobile platforms as well!

very very very cool - most do a test-project with this library one of these days. The only drawback is that it appears to eat your CPU (even up to the point where it completely crashes the browser on low end systems)

I'm still in the first fase of testing but it keeps running smoothly. Of course I think it wouldn't run well on 8-year old computers with Internet Explorer 6 but than again, would a similar Flash project run any better :-)
