Jie Qi experimented with paper computing through a pop-up book. She created an interactive popup book driven by Arduino. This resulted teardrop, a kit for paper computing.

"We have developed a construction kit that enables people to paint functional interactive devices on paper. Users of our kit can create painted sensors and actuators, functioning user interface sketches, beautiful drawings that integrate functionality and aesthetics, and working schematic drawings."
